ZNT Shipyard lays two ice-class tugs for Rosmorport
Nizhny Novgorod-based ZNT Yard held today, Dec. 8th keel-laying ceremony for two shallow-draft ice-class tugs of Project TG04M ordered by Rostov branch of Rosmorport, Marine Engineering Bureau (MEB) said.
The tugboats were designed by MEB for handling river vessels, floating cranes, berthing / de-berthing vessels and other operations in Russian river ports.
The serial tugs of project TG04 are the new generation river tugs and pushers intended for operation on the inland waterways of Russia. The tugs are classed to O 2.0 (ice 30) of Russian River Register.
