OOCL upgrades New Zealand – Far East trade network
OOCL is pleased to introduce the New Zealand – Northeast Asia Express (NZN), a new fixed-day weekly service that will broaden our market coverage and provide more efficient and high quality services to customers starting on December 24, 2011, company says.
This new service is in addition to our existing New Zealand – Southeast Asia Express (NZS) which together will increase our capacity and port coverage to meet the growing demand and customer requirements in the New Zealand market.
This product is developed through a Vessel Sharing Agreement with CMA-CGM that leverages on our strong experience in this region and as part of our continual commitment to better serve our customers by providing competitive transit times between ports in Northeast Asia and New Zealand.
By joining forces to serve this trade corridor, OOCL’s services will be upgraded to cover all major New Zealand ports with direct calls in the Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia loops. This strategic arrangement will also benefit New Zealand exporters to minimize their land-based transportation costs.
OOCL looks forward to this collaborative partnership to enhance efficiencies in the deployment of our vessels to provide the most competitive transit times, the widest port coverage, and flexible customized services to meet the needs of our valued customers.
