MV Pleiades Spirit delivers to Ust-Luga Subaru cars

The ocean-going MV Pleiades Spirit laden with imported 1068 Subaru cars arrived in the port of Ust-Luga on December 22. This is the first vehicles shipment of the Japan car maker, directly from Port of Yokosuka, Ust-Luga Co. said.

The cars-laden vessel was handled at Yug-2 Terminal of Ust-Luga port.

So far, the port’s multipurpose terminal (for Ro-Ro, cars, containers and general cargos) was handling ocean-going ships carrying imported vehicles manufactured by Hyundai, Toyota, Kia and Lexus.

Since the terminal was commissioned, the port has handled 129,142 imported vehicles. This year alone, the Ust-Luga facility transshipped 65,521 cars.
