Board of Rotterdam extends appointment of Hans Smits to 1 January 2014

As shareholder of the Port of Rotterdam Authority, the Municipal Board of Rotterdam has decided to extend the appointment of the current CEO, Hans Smits (61), by one year until 1 January 2014, the RPA press release said.

Hans Smits has been Port Authority CEO since 1 January 2005 and is currently working his second four-year term.
