OOCL ends slot deal on Emirates' Hyper Galex service
Hong Kong-based Overseas Orient Container Line (OOCL) will end its slot charter agreement on Asia and West India/Pakistan service, the Hyper Galex, operated by Emirates Shipping Line on January 1, Shippingazette reported.
It will drop its slots and gain back four vessels of average capacity 3,244 TEU. The port rotation of this service remains as Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Shenzhen-Da Chan Bay, Singapore, Port Kelang, Mumbai, Pipavav, Karachi, Port Kelang and back to Qingdao.
OOCL continues to call at ports Mumbai, Pipavav and Karachi on either charter slots or through one or two vessels of capacity on four loops.
