NG-Energo has completed manufacturing of a power generating complex with capacity of 9 MW for Russia's largest marine terminal for handling liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) based in Ust-Luga port, the company’s press release said.
The complex, designed in 2010 by a team of NG-Energo specialists, includes five diesel power units each of capacity of 1800 kW, of voltage 10.5 kV and other equipment.
The Ust-Luga terminal for handling LPG is a federal project and is being constructed by Sibur’s unit Sibur-PortEnergo Ltd. The facility projected capacity is 1.5 million tons of LPG and 2.5 million tons of light oil. UL LPGT completion is scheduled for late 2012.
