Sinopacific gets order for four LPG carriers

Nantong Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering has inked orders from Denmark-based Evergas to build four LPG carriers,Seatrade Asia reports.
The orders could be for 120,000 cubic metres LPG carriers worth $43m each or 170,000 cubic metres vessels worth $50m each. Details of the contract are to be finalised within the next few months.
China-based Nantong Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering is a subsidiary of Sinopacific Shipbuilding Group. The group aims to build 28 ships a year from 2012 and 40 ships a year by 2015 from its Dayang shipyard.
