COSCO head meets with ABS delegation

On February 23rd, Capt. Wei Jiafu, Chairman of COSCO Group met with ABS senior delegation headed by its President and CEO Christopher Wiernicki, the Group news release said.


Capt. Wei congratulated ABS on its 150th anniversary, and recalled with ABS guests the long and steady collaboration between COSCO and ABS. Capt. Wei hoped ABS to continue to support COSCOs fleet building and management. Mr. Wiernicki thanked Capt. Wei and COSCO Groups trust and support to ABS. During the meeting, both parties also shared views on global economy and shipping industry.


This meeting was also attended by Mr. Richard Pride, President and CEO of ABS Greater China Division, Mr. Sun Jiakang, Executive Vice President of COSCO Group, as well as representatives from Transportation and Strategic Planning Divisions of COSCO Group.
