Klaipedos Nafta half-year profit down 23 percent
Lithuanian oil company Klaipedos Nafta announced that its net profit has decreased by 23% less to LTL 21.5 million (EUR 6.2 million) during the six months of 2012 if compared to the same period of 2011 – LTL 27.9 million (EUR 8.1 million), NASDAQ OMX Baltic said.
The Company's sales income has decreased by 15%less to LTL 68.1 million (EUR 19.7 million) during the six months of 2012 if compared to the same period of 2011 – LTL 79.8 million (EUR 23.1 million), writes LETA/ELTA.
The profit and sales income has decreased by the reduced transshipment of oil products from Orlen Lietuva due to the planned capital repair works in this refinery and 2011 affected one time sale of heavy oil products collected in the Waste Water Treatment.
