The volume of crude oil of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported through the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline in January-August 2012 fell 2 percent from a year earlier, to 1.27 million tons, 1news.az reported citing the company statistics.
Overall, in 2011 crude oil shipments by SOCAR through the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline totaled 1.98 million tons, down 252,000 tons from 2010’s figures.
In 2012, SOCAR plans to export via the pipeline 1.7 million tons of crude oil.
