M/V Wealthy Grace refloated in the Amur Bay
The Cambodia-flagged M/V Wealthy Grace was refloated in the Amur Bay (Vladivostok) by salvage ship Lazurit (shipowner Baltic BASU’s Primorsky branch), the Russian Transport Ministry’s State Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (SMRCC) said. There was no oil spill, the hull was not damaged, the report said.
In the evening of September 4th, the M/V Wealthy Grace ran aground while departing the port of Vladivostok port. The 10 crewmembers were all Russia nationals. A preliminary report said that mate on watch was asleep during the maneuver.
The ship listed 2 degrees to starboard, draft was down by 30-70 cm. The ship was carrying 625 tons of cargo, 7 tons of diesel fuel, 33.4 tons of fuel oil.
