Commercial Port Vladivostok loaded blocks of forging equipment of total weight of 200 tons. Two anvil hammers weighing 104 and 96 tons were loaded onto the ship to be transported to South Korea, the company said.

The handling of heavy-lift cargo was performed at Berth Number 4 of CPV by two Gottwald mobile harbor cranes, each of lifting capacity of 63 tons. The heavy lift was hauled to Vladivostok tractor-trailer trucks from the city of Blagoveshchensk (Amur region).

CPV operates a fleet of cranes that enables the company simultaneously lift heavy items weighing up to 200 tons without using floating cranes. Once CPV has handled a record cargo weighing 176 tons.

Commercial Seaport of Vladivostok, member of FESCO Transport Group, owns and operates its assets at the port of Vladivostok, a premier Russian seaport in the Far East region. Port of Vladivostok encompasses 55 ha, over 14 km of waterfront featuring 17 berths with terminals for handling grain, containers, imported vehicles, as well as a passenger terminal. In 2011, CPV’s cargo throughput fell 7.8% year-over-year to 6.38 million tons.
