CCYIA joins int’l marine association
The China Cruise and Yacht Industry Association (CCYIA) has been approved as a full member of the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA), SinoShipNews reports.
To meet the requirements of full membership in ICOMIA, applicants must be a national marine industry association and legally incorporated. After meeting the criteria, CCYIA has joined ICOMIA as its second Chinese member; the China Boat Industry and Trade Association (CBITA) joined ICOMIA in 2010 and liaise with Government and industry to promote the development of recreational boating in China.
Tony Rice, ICOMIA Secretary General, welcomed CCYIA to the global ICOMIA family saying, “We very much look forward to working with CCYIA in the development of the Chinese market”.
