Krasnodar Krai seaports throughput rises 3.7 percent

Cargo traffic at the sea ports of Russia’s southern region Krasnodar Krai in January-August this year increased by 3.7% from last year’s figures, to 103.8 million tons, the regional Department of Transportation said.

The growth was driven primarily by cargo volumes handled by stevedoring companies operating at the port of Novorossiysk (103.6%) and the port of Kavkaz (119.4%).
