Latvijas Tilti secures contract for renovation of Klaipeda Port berths
Latvian joint-stock construction company Latvijas Tilti has signed a contract with Klaipeda State Seaport Authority for reconstruction of two berths in the Port of Klaipeda, according to the company's announcement submitted to NASDAQ OMX Riga.
The contract value is LTL 26.35 million (LVL 5.375 million), including value-added tax. Reconstruction is scheduled to start in November this year and to complete within 15 months, the Baltic Course reports citing local media.
Latvijas Tilti turnover in the first six months this year was LVL 6,592,273 - 20.9 percent more than in the first half of 2011. The company's profit amounted to LVL 253,183, a 55.6 percent increase on the same period last year.
