Russia hikes oil export duty to $418.9, effective Oct. 1st
The export duty on Russian crude oil will be increased $25.1 to $418.9 per metric ton, effective as from October 1, 2012. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian Govt’s press release said.
Export tariff preference for oil in Eastern Siberia and the Caspian fields and Prirazlomnoye will be $210.1 / mt (vs current $191.3), effective October 1, 2012.
Preferential tariff on high viscosity oil at 10% of the total duty on oil, from October 1, 2012 will be $41.8 / mt, compared to $39.3 / tonne effective from September 1, 2012.
Export duty on light and heavy oil (from Oct. 1, 2011, at 66 % of crude oil duty), from October 1 will be $276.4 a ton (vs $259.9).
