Cosco builds offshore yard in Dongguan

Cosco Guangdong Shipyard is embarking on building a yard specifically for offshore construction, the first dedicated offshore site in the southern Chinese province. Dongguan, near Shenzhen, has been selected for the new facility. Cosco has big plans for offshore, wanting it to account for up to half of its shipyard revenues by the end of 2015, SinoShipNews reports.
