Sovcomflot (SCF Group) has announced the official opening of a new office in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), one of the most dynamic and fastest growing regions in the world, the Group press release said.
The SCF’s Dubai office is expected to be an important element in the management of the Group’s fleet.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for SCF Dubai office was attended by SCF President & CEO Sergey Frank, Sharaf Group President Ibrahim Sharaf, Managing Director of SCF Overseas Management Company Ltd office Alexander Nemenko and SCF partners - representatives of major oil companies and banks.
SCF’s Mr. Frank said speaking at the opening ceremony: "Opening an office of SCF in Dubai is another milestone in the development strategy of SCF and implies further expansion the global reach of the group of companies in the world and the growing role of our business in marine transportation of energy resources in the Middle East. Dubai is becoming increasingly important to the world economy and become the world's financial and investment center. It is the Middle East region where large flows of hydrocarbons are generated. I am confident that with the opening of the Dubai office Sovcomflot will strengthen ties between Russia and the United Arab Emirates and will encourage further development of our activities in the region."
