The port of Singapore, the world's second busiest container port, recorded higher box throughput in October with 2.68m teu, Seatrade Asia online reports.
Last month's throughput improved 4.2% year-on-year and 2.5% month-on-month, according to data from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).
In the first 10 months of this year, Singapore handled 26.44m teu of containers, up from 24.83m teu in the same period of 2011.
