InzhTransStroy Corp. contracted to build waterfront for icebreakers in St. Petersburg port

InzhTransStroy Corporation and Federal enterprise Rosmorport have signed a government contract to overhaul the existing waterfront and build a new docking complex for lay-up of icebreakers at the port of St. Petersburg, the Corp. press release said.
 
The project will be implemented within the framework of the Federal target program "Development of Transportation System of Russia (2010 - 2015). 

The berthing facilities will consist of a waterfront, the operating water area, utility and onshore area with entrance / exit lanes for vehicles. The contractor will build two 546-m / 243-m-long and 25-m-wide berths. The contract includes dredging of the waterfront. The contract completion is scheduled for July 2014.
