Bunker prices movements in the Asia / Pacific region remained small on Thursday, although Karachi prices made a double-digit drop today, the first movement after almost a month of steady prices, and some ports in Australia also saw some larger losses, Ship & Bunker reports.
Singapore IFO380 moved up $7.00 to $610.00 per metric tonne (pmt) making a week-on-week gain of $2.50 and dropping $37.50 over the past month. MGO at the port was up $4.00 to $929.00 pmt, down $3.50 from last Thursday's price.
Hong Kong IFO380 saw a third consecutive day of gains rising $3.50 to $619.00 pmt and just $0.50 lower than last Thursday's price, while MGO was down $1.00 to $947.50 losing $46.50 in the last month.
Tokyo IFO380 was up $2.50 to $662.00 pmt, down $13.50 week-on-week and $37.50 over the past month. MDO also added $2.50 bringing the price to $942.50 pmt, down $17.00 in a week.
Port Klang 380 cSt product gained $7.00 to $610.00 pmt with a one week change of $-11.50 and $-41.00 over the past month. MGO moved up $11.00 to $955.50 pmt.
Busan IFO380 climbed $2.50 to $664.00 pmt gaining $7.00 week-on-week but down $17.00 over the past month, and MGO rose $1.00 to $958.50 down $9.00 on last Thursday's price.
