A small size vessel sank in the Barents Sea on November 18th, the State Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre of the Transportation Ministry reported.
The RMN 9452 "Fishing" (crew - 2 people, Russian flag, homeport of Murmansk, owner – a private entrepreneur) issued a distress call, reporting the ingress of water in the engine room. Rescuers dispatched to the scene the RMN 1486 and a Northern Fleet’s submarine. The boat sank but the crew members were rescued on board the sub.
