Ust-Luga port-based Ust-Luga Container Terminal (ULCT) commences to handle two container ships operating on Unifeeder weekly container service, the National Container Company press release said. The new timetable is effective as from on December 3.
The ship calls will be made on Wednesday and Sunday.
Currently, container ships of three major carriers are making calls to ULCT: Unifeeder, CMA CGM and Maersk Line.
NCC Group owned Ust-Luga Container Terminal (ULCT) is a container terminal based in the port of Ust-Luga. The ULCT encompasses 40 ha, The facility’s first phase annual capacity is 440 000 TEUs, quay length – 440 m, depth alongside – 13.5 m, storage capacity – 78,700 TEU, reefer plugs – 6,000. The fleet of handling equipment includes 4 STS (Panamax), 11 RTG and 2 RMG. The facility is projected to reach its maximum capacity (2.85 million TEU) by 2025.
