From November 19 to 23, Port State Control on Russia’s inland waterways conducted 97 inspections of ships. The PSC officers have revealed 443 different deficiencies, the Rosmorrechflot press service said.
There were 13 serious violations reported of the mandatory requirements, which caused the temporary detention of ships.
Moreover, PSC officers inspected a passenger ship and found 11 serious breaches of the regulatory requirements, and 106 violations of mandatory requirements for hazardous liquid bulk cargo handling on 19 ships. Two ships laden with hazardous liquid cargo were temporarily detained.
