The Russian Ministry of Transportation has published a draft order "On approval of mandatory regulations at the Port of Temryuk."
The regulations for the port of Temryuk were developed pursuant to the Federal Law (№ 261-FZ, Nov. 8, 2007) "On the Sea Ports of the Russian Federation, and on Amendments to the Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation," according to the Federal Law (№ 81-FZ, Apr 30, 1999) “Merchant Shipping Code of the Russian Federation” and General Rules of Navigation and Anchorage in the Ports of the Russian Federation and its approach channels.
Port of Temryuk is located on the Taman seashore of the Azov Sea. The berths of total length of 1,200 rm are equipped for handling general cargoes, round timber, lumber, food products, metals and oversized cargoes. In 2011, cargo traffic at the port of Temryuk rose to 2.34 million tons (vs 1.95mln in 2010).
