First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov reiterated today that the privatization of container shipping company TransContainer is a better option than assigning this asset to the united logistics company of the Customs Union. Be that as it may, no final decision has been made yet, Shuvalov said at a news briefing after cabinet meeting today, RBC reported.
Earlier, Russian Railways, the parent company of TransContainer, which originally planned to divest its 50% plus two shares stake in TransContainer, proposed assigning it to the yet-to-be-created logistics operator of the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
