The first Ro-Ro cargo ship Finnbreeze yesterday, November 29 docked at Pier No 25 of Yug-2 Multipurpose Terminal at the Port of Ust-Luga. The first call of Finnlines’ Ro-Ro vessel has commenced the new Lubeck-Ust-Luga service launched by Finnlines, the Ust-Luga press release said. The Yug-2 terminal was designed for handling Ro-Ro, CON-RO vessels.

Finnlines plans two more calls in December from the Germany port of Lubeck to the UL Yug-2 terminal. The service becomes regular as from 2013, the report said.
Finnlines’ services have already connected Russia to the ports of Bilbao, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Hull, Arhus and Lübeck. There are four new Ro-Ro vessels of capacity of 600 vehicles operating on the lines. Two more ships will be deployed on the route by the end of 2012.
