Construction of Rotterdam’s Maasvlakte 2 the first phase is close to completion

The construction of Rotterdam’s Maasvlakte 2 is on schedule and the first phase is close to completion, Cargonews Asia reports. In July the “back door” was closed, and contractor PUMA (Boskalis and Van Oord) is busy opening the “front door”. The temporary inland lake will disappear, opening access to APM Terminals Maasvlakte II and the Rotterdam World Gateway (RWG) terminals that will be online in 2014.
