Houston IFO380 rose $3.50 to $611.50 per metric tonne (pmt), no change from the price last Monday, and $16.50 higher than last month. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) climbed $4.00 to $724.00, gaining $12.50 week-on-week, and making the premium for the low sulfur fuel $112.50 pmt. MGO climbed $6.50 to $1019.00 pmt, up $18.50 compared to the price two weeks ago, and climbing $21.50 from November 5, 2012.
New York IFO380 was up for the first time since November 19, 2012 climbing $2.50 to $621.50 pmt, losing $7.00 week-on-week, and down $4.00 from last month. LS380 rose $5.00 to $695.00 making the premium for the low sulfur product $73.50 pmt. MGO fell $2.50 to $1042.00 pmt, falling $7.50 from last Monday, but up $42.50 since November 5, 2012.
New Orleans IFO380 was up $3.50 to $631.00 pmt, rising $11.00 over the last week, and up $31.50 from the price on November 5, 2012. LS380 was up $5.50 to $732.00 to make the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $101.00 pmt. MGO was up for the first time since November 22, 2012 gaining $16.00 to $1021.00 pmt a week-on-week increase of $7.00.
LA / Long Beach IFO380 fell for a fifth consecutive market day dropping $0.50 to $663.00 pmt, down $11.00 from last Monday, and falling $18.50 since November 5, 2012. LS380 slipped $1.50 to $742.00, a week-on-week loss of $17.00, and making the premium for the low sulfur fuel $79.00 pmt.
Vancouver IFO380 was up for a second consecutive market day gaining $4.50 to $650.50 pmt, making a $2.50 week-on-week increase, and adding $17.00 over the past month. LS380 was steady at $912.50 making the premium for the low sulfur product $262.50 pmt.
