Storm shuts Vanino-Kholmsk ferry line
Ferry service in the Tatar Strait connecting the mainland and Sakhalin will be cancelled at least until November 6. Wave heights in the Tatar Strait reach 3.5 meters, with wind gusting to 17-20 m / s. All four ferries are now anchored in the area of the port of Vanino, ITAR-TASS reported.
The snow and glaze restricted traffic on the federal Khabarovsk-Vladivostok highway and Lidoga-Vanino road.
