  SNC Shipyard lays keel of crane vessel NB 603 for Nibulon

  

  Constanta based SNC Shipyard today November 6, hosted a keel-laying ceremony for the floating crane NB 603 of Project POSS-901 ordered by Nibulon Ltd. (Nikolaev), the Ukrainian company said.

  The floating crane will be outfitted with deck cabin and lift crane, anchor winches, chains, anchors and masts.

  The crane vessel completion is scheduled for 25 March 2013.

  The NB 603 is able to operate at sea with wave height of up to 1.5 m and wind gusts up to 20 m / s.

  Agricultural LLC Nibulon Ltd is a joint venture of Ukrainian-Hungarian-British agricultural company, established in 1991. The company is one of the largest agricultural producers and grain exporters in Ukraine. The company operates through 36 branches in 11 regions of the country and cultivates more than 70,000 ha of land. In 2009, Nibulon launched an investment project for the construction of seven silos with a total capacity of more than 250,000 tons, creation its own fleet of cargo ships of total 100,000DWT and tugboats.
