Little change for bunker prices in Asia
Ship & Bunker price data showed bunker prices in the Asia / Pacific region were very flat today, with no change for IFO380 in several ports, and a drop of $3.00 in Singapore representing the biggest move for the grade in Asia, Ship & Bunker reports.
That change saw Singapore IFO380 move down to $600.50 per metric tonne (pmt) for a week-on-week gain of $1.50, and down $0.50 on the previous month. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) fell $14.50 to $674.50, down $11.50 from last Thursday, and making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $74.00 pmt. MGO moved down for a third consecutive day falling $3.00 to $940.50 pmt, up on last week by $4.50, and rising $18.50 above the price on November 6, 2012.
Busan IFO380 climbed for a fourth consecutive day gaining $2.00 to $648.50 pmt, adding $6.00 to last week's price, but down $1.00 from the previous month. LS380 rose $8.00 to $805.00 making the premium for the low sulfur grade $156.50 pmt. MGO fell $0.50 to $971.00 pmt, $10.50 higher than last Thursday's price, and rising $25.00 from the previous month.
Hong Kong IFO380 was down $0.50 to $617.50 pmt, falling $2.00 week-on-week, and down $72.00 from the price three months ago. MGO fell for a third consecutive day dropping $0.50 to $966.00 pmt, climbing $7.00 from last Thursday, and rising $26.00 from November 6, 2012.
Tokyo IFO380 was steady at $652.00 pmt, slipping $13.00 week-on-week, and falling $19.50 from November 6, 2012. MDO moved up $1.00 to $958.00 pmt, adding $4.50 to last Thursday's price, and up $11.50 month-on-month.
