Azeri crude exports via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan shrinks to 27.32m tons
Crude oil shipments through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline in January-November 2012 totaled 27.32 million tons, 2.73m tons down from last year’s numbers, 1news.az reports citing SOCAR statement.
The figures of crude oil exports via the Turkish terminal are as follows: in January - 2.7 million tons, February - 2.45m tons, March - 2.7m, April - 2.3m, May - 2.8 m, June - 2.73 m, July – 2.12m, August - 2.36m, September - 2.6m, October - 2.23m.
Overall, since the commissioning in June 2006 of BP PLC-operated 1768-km-long Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline (BTC), SOCAR has exported through the pipeline 203.1 million tons as of December 1st.
The BTC Co. stockholders are: BP (30.1%); AzBTC (25,00%); Chevron (8.90%); StatoilHydro (8.71%); TPAO (6.53%); ENI (5.00%); Total (5.00%), Itochu (3.40%); INPEX (2.50%), ConocoPhillips (2,50%), and Hess (2.36%).
