The key equipment for the F&G designed Caspian Driller was integrated in China, then shipped to the yard in Russia where final assembly and commissioning took place. The rig is slated to work in the Caspian Sea.
Construction on the Caspian Driller began in August 2010, and was financially supported by China Development Bank.
