Bunker prices firm in the Mediterranean
Ship & Bunker data showed mixed bunker prices in North and Western Europe today, as movements remained small. Mediterranean and Black Sea and Oceanic Africa saw some firmer prices. Fujairah was mostly flat, while posted prices in Damman and Jeddah saw IFO down $15.00 per metric tonne (pmt).
Rotterdam IFO380 moved down $1.00 to $578.00 pmt, down $9.50 week-on-week, and falling $11.00 over the past month. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) moved down $0.50 to $614.00 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $36.00 pmt. MGO moved down $1.50 to $905.00 pmt, $23.50 lower than the price last week.
Fujairah IFO380 was steady at $601.00 pmt, down $5.50 week-on-week, and $90.00 lower than the price three months ago. MGO in the port was also steady remaining at $1011.50 pmt, a weekly change of $-9.50.
Istanbul IFO380 rose $0.50 to $618.50 pmt, losing $8.50 from last Thursday, and down $6.50 from the price last month. MGO in Istanbul moved up for the first time since December 4, 2012 gaining $8.00 to $976.50 pmt, a week-on-week change of $-15.00.
Piraeus IFO380 was up $1.50 to $601.50 pmt, down $6.00 week-on-week, and a $13.00 loss month-on-month. LS380 fell $4.00 to $661.50 making the premium for the low sulfur product $60.00 pmt. MGO moved up for the first time since December 4, 2012 just over a week ago, rising $6.50 to $936.50 pmt, $18.50 lower than last Thursday's price.
