  Pilot boat of Project 14172 delivered to customer

  

  The Project 14172 speed pilot boat "Terrier" built at Yaroslavksy Shipyard, after undergoing sea trials in the waters of the Volga River, Volgograd, has been handed over to the customer and delivered to the place of permanent deployment, the shipbuilding firm said.

  The contract for a package two pilot boats of Project 14172 "Terrier" was signed on May 10, 2012 between Yaroslavsky Shipyard and Zodiac Invest GmbH. The project boat was designed by Zelenodolsk Design Bureau.

  The second high-speed craft is scheduled for delivery to the customer for late December 2012.

  Basic specifications: LOA - 12.35 m, overall breadth - 4,14 m, draft amidships, full displacement - 0.61 m, maximum speed, full displacement (sea state - BN 2) at least - 30 kn., crew - 2 people, class KM [2] AUT3 HSC.
