Bunker prices rise in Singapore
Nearing the end of a slow week in Singapore, Ship & Bunker price data showed IFO380 moving up $5.00 to $610.00 per metric tonne (pmt) in the world's biggest bunkering port by volume, adding $5.00 week-on-week, and down $4.00 from the previous month. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) climbed $2.50 to $691.50 making the premium for Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $81.50 pmt. MGO rose $5.00 to $935.50 pmt, $15.00 higher than the price two weeks ago.
Busan IFO380 climbed $5.00 to $638.50 pmt, rising $6.00 from last week, and falling $13.50 over the past month. LS380 slipped $0.50 to $778.50 making the premium for the low sulfur product $140.00 pmt. MGO was down $1.00 to $961.00 pmt, up $4.50 week-on-week.
Hong Kong IFO380 was steady at $621.50 pmt, the same price as last week, but $5.50 higher than the price two weeks ago. MGO moved up $5.50 to $960.50 pmt, making a $6.50 week-on-week gain, and $7.50 lower than November 27, 2012.
Tokyo IFO380 saw little change, climbing $0.50 to $649.00 pmt, down $20.00 from last month. MDO fell $4.50 to $955.00 pmt, falling $1.50 week-on-week, and slipping $13.00 over the past month.
