  National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia announces the merger of fleet & operations of Vela with Bahri

  

  Further to the announcement of The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) dated 31, March 2013 regarding holding an Extraordinary General Assembly to obtain the approval for the merger of the fleet & operations of Vela with Bahri and the required capital increase, said in the company's press release. The announcement indicated that the Extraordinary General Assembly is expected to be held during the second quarter of 2013, after obtaining necessary regulatory approvals. Therefore Bahri wishes to clarify that the work is still in progress to meet regulatory requirements for obtaining the required approvals, and the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting is expected to be held during the 3rd quarter of 2013, after obtaining the required regulatory approvals.
