Rosmorrechflot set to ensure 300-mln tonne increase of Russian ports capacity by 2018
Under the programme on the development of Russian sea and river transport, 2013-2018, throughput capacity of Russian seaports is to be raised by 301.65 mln t, IAA PortNews journalist cites Sergey Gorelik, Deputy Head of Rosmorrechflot (Federal Marine and River Transport Agency) as saying at the joint meeting of the Board and the Public Council of Rosmorrechflot.
According to Sergey Gorelik, within the task implementation there are plans on construction of the outer port Bronka, ports Sabetta, Taman, Olya, Vanino, building of public coal terminal in the Far East as well as modernization of small and average-size ports.
Under the programme, RUB 150 bln is to be allocated from the federal budget while the off-budget financing is to exceed it 3 times.
