Houston bunker prices continue to rise

As WTI prices today eased back from last week's rally, dropping $0.14 to $103.14/bbl, bunker prices in Houston continued their steady climb, the Ship & Bunker data shows.

IFO380 at the port moved up $2.00 to $587.50 per metric tonne (pmt) for a week-on-week gain of $13.00.

Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) moved up $3.50 to $639.00 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $51.50 pmt.

After an $8.00 drop yesterday, MGO resumed its upward movement gaining $14.00 to $989.50 pmt, $30.50 higher than last week.
