Pilotage and berthing at Ukraine's Port of Odessa delayed
This morning pilotage and docking of vessels arriving at Ukraine based Odessa Commercial Sea Port were temporarily suspended due to dense fog until good visibility, the port operator OCSP said in a news release.
State-owned company Odessa Sea Commercial Port operates in Odessa and is one of the largest ports in the Black Sea-Azov basin. The port terminals are able to handle annually more than 14 million tonnes of dry cargo and 14 million tonnes of oil products. Passenger terminal of OCSP can accommodate vessels of up to 300 meters in length. In 2013 cargo throughput at the port's terminals fell year-on-year 5.3% to 23.1 million tonnes.
