Two-way traffic opens at Saint-Petersburg seaway canal

As Saint-Petersburg seaway canal is outfitted with floating aids to navigation as in summer period, two-way traffic of vessels along the canal is allowed from April 4, 2014 in compliance with the Compulsory Regulations in Seaport “Big Port St. Petersburg” by the order of the Harbour Master.

Navigation beyond the canal edge is regulated by Article 35 of the Compulsory Regulations.
