Between March 31 and April 4 2014, average wholesale spot market prices for Russian heavy furnace fuel grade M-100 rose by RUB 191.0 per metric ton (pmt), or a 4-percent gain week-on-week, to RUB 11,783.0 pmt, the market specialist IAC Kortes told IAA PortNews.
The heavy furnace oil price in the North-West Federal District remained flat week-on-week, at RUB 11,650.0 pmt.
In the reporting period, the product was traded in the Central Federal District for RUB 11,347 pmt (+RUB 160.0).
The M-100 price in the Volga Federal District increased by 95.0 rubles to 10,548 pmt, in the Southern Federal District the price soared by RUB 500.0 to RUB 11,550 pmt.
In the Siberian Federal District a metric ton of M-100 was sold for RUB 13,610 (+473.0pmt).
In the Russian Far East region the product price increased by RUB 275.0 to RUB 17,990 pmt.
