First oil shipment from Prirazlomnaya platform expected on April 18

First oil shipment from Prirazlomnaya platform (Gazprom Neft, Pechora Sea) to 70,000-dwt tanker Mikhail Ulyanov (Sovcomflot) is expected from April 18, 2014, IAA PortNews, IAA PortNews has learnt from a source in the market.

Gazprom Neft President Aleksandr Dyukov earlier told about the company’s plan to start oil shipments Prirazlomnaya platform in the second half of April 2014.

The Prirazlomnoye field was discovered in 1989. It is located on the Pechora Sea shelf 60 kilometers off the shore (Varandey settlement) at the water depth of 19 to 20 meters. The Prirazlomnoye field contains 72 million tonnes of oil reserves, expected annual production - 6 mln t from 2020. 300,000 t of oil is to be produced in 2014.
