Throughput of Universal Reloading Complex LLC (Ust-Luga) up 23% to 914,000 t in QI'14

In January-March 2014, Universal Reloading Complex LLC handled 914,000 t of cargo (+23%, year-on-year), URC press center says.

The company says the growth was driven by the demand for energy materials in Europe which resulted in increased transshipment of export coal, the company’s major cargo. 

Universal Reloading Complex LLC (part of UCL Port, stevedoring division of international transport group UCL Holding) is a cargo terminal at the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region. It specializes in acceptance, storage and shipment of exported and imported dry bulk cargo. In 2013, Universal Reloading Complex LLC handled 3.5 mln t of cargo.
