RF Government approves state programme “Socioeconomic Development of Arctic Zone to 2020”

By the Decree of April 21, 2014, RF Government approved the state programme “Socioeconomic Development of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation through to 2020” Kremlin press center says.

The programme includes the activities of different industry focused state programmes of the Russian Federation being implemented in the Arctic zone. The draft Decree was developed by RF Ministry of Regional Development. The Ministry is responsible for the programme implementation. The programme participants are the Ministry for Development of Russian Far East, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
