RF Government approves amended state programme “Development of Transportation System”

RF Government has approved the amended state programme “Development of Transportation System”, Kremlin press center says.

According to the Decree dated April 15, 2014, the state programme includes the activities on the development of transport infrastructure in view of hosting world football championship in 2018 and large-scale transport infrastructure projects. Besides, the amended programme implies the activities aimed at doubling of construction and reconstruction of federal highways in 2013–2022.

The financing of the state programme totals some RUB 12.3 trillion: RUB 6.85 trillion from the federal budget (including RUB 4.78 trillion from the Federal Road Fund), RUB 150 bln from the National Welfare Fund, RUB 58.7 bln from consolidated budgets of the Federation entities and RUB 5.2 trillion of investments.
