Hapag-Lloyd hikes rates on East Asia- Arabian Gulf service

Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates for all cargoes and all container types from East Asia (excluding Japan) to Arabian Gulf, the Company said Monday.
Arabian Gulf includes the ports in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia (Dammam & Riyadh via Dammam).

The new rates with effect from May 15, 2014 will be USD 300 per TEU
