OJSC Sakhalin Shipping Company (SASCO) raises rates for port-to-port transportation of containers, equipment and other general cargoes at the line service Vladivostok-Magadan-Vladivostok, the company’s press center says.
The decision has been driven by the increased fuel, operational and terminal costs.
New rates are applicable starting from M/V Selenga No 1419.
Regular container service Vladivostok-Magadan was launched in November 2009. Vladivostok-Magadan links port Vladivostok (north-west coast of the Sea of Japan) and port Magadan (north-east of Siberia)
