Russia, Venezuela come to practical agreements on construction of shipyard near Orinoco river (photo)

At the forth meeting of Russia-Venezuela sub-commission on transportation and transport infrastructure under Russia–Venezuela High-Level Commission, the sides came to practical agreements on construction of a shipyard near Orinoco river, press center of RF Transport Ministry says.

The Russian delegation was headed by Victor Olersky, Deputy Transport Minister, the Venezuelan delegation – by Luis Galindo Mendez, Deputy Minister of Water. 

According to the decision made at the meeting, the activities of the work group responsible for the feasibility study of the new shipyard construction are to be approved by September 30, 2014, the latest. 

The results of the feasibility study are to be submitted by the work group to the sub-commission by March 30, 2015.

The fifth meeting of the sub-commission is to be held in 2015 in Venezuela.
